2. Not a certification or compliance program
Completing rooms, earning XP, badges, or leaderboard rank does not mean you are certified under IEC 61508, ISO 26262, DO-178C, IEC 62304, or any other standard. AcrossTheWire is not accredited by certification bodies (for example TÜV, exida, FAA DERs, or notified bodies) unless we explicitly announce a separate partnered program.
3. Simplified and fictional scenarios
Labs, code samples, fault trees, and “ForgeCorp” incident stories are educational fiction or heavily simplified models. They may omit hazards, requirements, tooling limits, or process steps that matter in real projects. A green “SAFE” or “VERIFIED” result in a challenge is a teaching outcome inside the platform — not proof that any real system is safe.

If you work on safety-critical software, follow your organization’s processes, applicable law, and the authoritative text of the relevant standards. Use qualified professionals, independent review, and approved tools for real verification and validation.

Names of standards, organizations, and tools (for example IEC, ISO, DO-178C, TLC, SPIN, PRISM, CBMC) are used for educational identification only. AcrossTheWire is not affiliated with or endorsed by those bodies unless explicitly stated.
